SUMMARY:Half-day Deep Listening Skills Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Some may think of listening and communication as a skill that you either have or don’t. But it is something that we can all train in and improve at. \nIncreasing our capacity to listen can help immensely in both personal and professional relationships. Communication can be a complex dance in which the surface message does not always reflect the underlying meaning. These daylong workshops provide a mix of fundamental information\, interactive exercises\, and contemplative reflections. \nHow do we uncover that deeper meaning? How do we show others that we care? How do we increase our own capacity to hold that space for them? \nWe learn to listen with our entire minds and bodies; we learn to listen to the entirety of others as well. Also\, learning to communicate with healthy forms of compassion\, joy\, equanimity\, and other qualities can increase our own sense of sustainability through daily life. \nsnacks and warm drinks provided \nCONTACT us for inquiries through \n
